Dolly Sohi of Bhabhi fame turns producer

Remember Dolly Sohi who came to fame as the lead in Star Plus’ Bhabhi? Well, the actress is staging a comeback in television in a brand new avatar. Yes, you heard it right!! However, Dolly will not be seen as an actress but as a producer. Dolly Sahi along with her friends Ashish Agarwal and Rajesh Berry (writer of Bhabhi) plan to start a production house called ‘Tanisha Enterprises’. They will first be venturing into Punjabi films and albums after which they plan to produce Hindi serials for television. Talking about her new stint, Dolly tells Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, it is true that I am starting a production house. I will be doing this in partnership with my friends Ashish Agarwal and Rajesh Berry. I have been an actor and now want to go a step ahead. We are presently working on a Punjabi film which will go on floor this October (2012). However, I cannot talk much about it as of now.” So what kept her busy for all these years? “I was taking care of my family. My daughter Amelia is now two years old and I can again think of working.” What about a comeback on television? “Yes, I am open to challenging roles on television. Let’s see what comes my way”. We wish Dolly Sohi and her team of friends all the luck for their new venture.
