Pratham Kunwar prepares Jalebis for the cast and crew of Zee TV’s Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega

MUMBAI: Zee TV’s popular fiction show, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, has been a favourite amongst TV viewers with its unique and never-seen-before concept revolving around the country’s youngest Saas, younger than the bahus of the household she marries into! Having intrigued and entertained the viewers with the interesting story around Guddan (Kanika Mann) and Akshat’s (Nishant Singh Malkani) love life, the show witnessed a 20-year leap after the tragic death of Akshat and Guddan as they attempted to save their only daughter.

With the latter essayed by Kanika Mann herself, the show now revolves around the ups and downs of Choti Guddan’s life. While Savy Thakur entered as Agastya, the hero in her life, there is another character who made a rather dramatic entry to turn  Choti Guddan’s life upside down and that is none other than the Birla family's bad boy, Money Birla. Essayed by the very talented Pratham Kunwar, the latter is widely popular for his roles across several mythology shows. While it might have just been a couple of days since he began shooting, Pratham Kunwar has settled well and formed comfortable bonds with the cast and crew of the show. In fact, while shooting a particular celebratory sequence, the actor took a step forth and decided to treat the entire team to some of his special hand-made jalebis. Using all the necessary ingredients and utensils that were otherwise utilized as props for shooting scenes on the set, Pratham Kunwar took charge and prepared his favourite sweet dish with minimal help from the people around him. Being an absolute pro at culinary skills, the cast and crew members actually relished some of the hot jalebis that he prepared.

Sharing his experience, Pratham said, “I thoroughly enjoy cooking, and love trying my hand out at making new dishes. We were shooting for this ceremonial sequence and this was the first time I tried my hands at such a popular Indian sweet dish. The chefs present on the set provided their inputs and tips as well and infact I made the Chashni as directed by them. I also made pan cakes which were loved by everyone. Flipping a pancake is an art but since I cook all the time at home too I am kind of pro at it. Thankfully both the dishes were loved by the cast and crew members on the set. Living alone has taught me so many wonderful things and one of them is cooking. All my household  helps are also trained by me because I like my food in a certain manner. There are so many people who learnt how to cook in my house right from simple rice, dal to paneer delicacies. Seeing their excitement, I look forward to maybe cooking another cuisine for the team once again.

Well, Pratham’s next dish might take a while, his character, Money is up to cooking some troubles for our Choti Guddan.

To know more, tune into Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega every Monday to Saturday at 8 pm only on Zee TV!
