Anju Mahendroo, Ankit Bathla and Sana Sheikh in Hema Malini's next for Sony

Recently it was reported in a certain section of the media that Bhagyashree who went on to be acclaimed as an actress with her portrayal in Rajshri’s Maine Pyaar Kiya, has been roped in to play a pivotal role in a Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show to be produced by Hema Malini. Tellychakkar.com has now got more details on the show and cast. Veteran actress Anju Mahendroo will also be seen playing an integral role, while Ankit Bathla, who was last seen in Mata Ki Chowki and Sana Sheikh will play the lead roles. There will be one more female protagonist in the show who will be a new face. The story, we hear, will revolve around a musical rivalry between two sisters. While, Bhagyashree will play mother to the girls, Anju Mahendroo will play the girls’ nani (grandmother). When contacted, Anju Mahendroo said, “Well, talks are on for the show. But there is nothing concrete yet to talk about.” Sana Sheikh too admitted that she has been in talks for the role but there is nothing further to that. We could not get in touch with Ankit Bathla. Our endeavour in getting in touch with Sneha Rajani, Business Head, Sony Entertainment Television went in vain, as she didn’t respond to our text message.
