Puneet Sachdev is tired of doing "negative roles"

Puneet Sachdev, last seen in Bidaai in a negative character, is waiting for some good projects to come his way. Shares Puneet, “Well, all along, I have been doing out and out negative roles like the ones in Bhabhi, Bidaai and years ago in Kasautii Zindagi Kay. Back then negative roles were well crafted and were meaty ones. The character would have a past and therefore there were enough reasons for his actions and reactions. Nowadays, I am simply being offered negative characters just for the sake of it. But, now I tired playing such roles and want to do positive ones. I can realize that I have been stereotyped for I am being offered only negative roles. But I can do a lot more than that. I have a wish or two; would love to anchor and get into reality shows.” When asked of any kind of issues he faces as a senior actor, he observes, “Well, yes I did face several issues. Twice, I was replaced by a new face even after me signing the contract. I know the trend has changed, and I am will be happy if I am offered a brother’s role too, but it should be a positive one.” Given a chance, would he want to be in the Bigg Boss house? “Though, I watch Bigg Boss at times, but am not sure whether I will be able to stay in the house.” Talking of his favourite shows, Puneet adds, “Mostly, I watch English serials.” We wish you all the best for your future endeavors… Puneet!!!
