MUMBAI: Anupam Kher lost a huge number of fans in 36 hours; the actor took to his Twitter handle on Thursday to share his concern with the micro-blogging site and his fans after he lost about 80,000 followers in just 36 hours.

He wrote, ‘Dear @Twitter and @TwitterIndia! I have 80,000 less followers in the last 36 hours! Is there a glitch in your app or something else is happening!! It is an observation. Not a complaint….. yet.:)’
Following his tweet, many fans came out and shared similar stories on the micro-blogging site. While one wrote, ‘Mera 201 followers hai by tomorrow morning it will be 200, roj hota hai ye’, another one wrote, ‘There might be a possibility that those 80,000 fake accounts get deactivated or closed.’

Anupam Kher had reportedly quit his American TV series after his wife was diagnosed with cancer. Sharing a health update about her illness, Anupam had shared, “Just so that rumours don’t get the better of a situation Sikandar and I would like to inform everyone that Kirron has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment and we are sure she will come out of this stronger than before. We are very blessed that she is being looked after by a phenomenal set of doctors. She’s always been a fighter and takes things head on.”
Anupam Kher has many films like, ‘Saaransh’, ‘A Wednesday’, ‘M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story’, ‘Baby’, ‘Aiyaary’ and others to his credit.
