Shweta- Manav off on second honeymoon!

Shweta Kawatra with hubby Manav Gohil are all set to go on their second honeymoon trip to the Bahamas, on 20 December. "This would be our second honeymoon plus New Year outing. I hope it turns out to be fun," says the chirpy gal, who got hitched to Manav on Christmas Day last year. The trip will also include a jaunt to New York, where they can meet up with Shweta's sister. Manav has recently opted out of CID, but is prominent in Remix, while Shweta is content with CID Special Bureau and with hosting film based shows. A break is probably what they need! Matching up!

On the night of the sangeet to mark Angad and Kripa's wedding last Saturday, it seems the guests too decided to go the whole hog. What took us by surprise were the unlikely folks who paired up for the night. Madhuri Bhatia (Vasu) and Deepak Parashar (CG), were seen dancing away, pretty close at that, to the lively performances belted out by the Indian Idol and Fame Gurukul finalists. Another cosy couple were Chaitanya Chaudhry and Poonam Joshi, with Chaitanya escorting Poonam all the while and sharing sweet nothings over their dinner plates. Could the night have turned out any sweeter? Chetan's date with Mrs. India! Chetan Hansraj was the youngest judge at Gladrags Mrs. India contest held at Bombay Dyeing's Wadala premises on Saturday evening. He was the odd one out among all the judges which included well established names like Akshay Kumar, Koena Mitra, Raveena Tandon and Suneeta Menon. When Chetan's turn came to ask a question to one of the semi-finalists, he asked, "What would you do if you catch your man with another woman in bed?" He got quite a thanda response as a judge because the X-factor from his persona was absolutely missing although he was formally dressed and looked good. Sitting next to Sunita Menon, he probably felt a little out of place because he knew none of the judges. The first benchers at the event were Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia. Instead of Gladrags event Chetan should have been at Balaji's Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai shaadi party at Sea Rock which happened the same evening. Ronit Roy Panchgani bound this New Year! Guess why tellydom's superstar, Ronit Roy is going to Panchgani this New Year's eve? Well, he is all set to wish big screen counterpart, Aamir Khan a very happy married life! "Aamir is a dear friend and I am going to Panchgani and will be there for four to five days with my family to attend his wedding," says Ronit, when we met up with him at Ekta's Kkusum party on 7 December. Aamir and Ronit met during the shoot of Lagaan, when the latter's security agency provided security for the entire starcast of the film. The bonding happened when Ronit stayed on the sets and personally supervised the security arrangements. This was of course before the actor got Kyunki...and became a household name. Looking dapper in a grey sweatshirt, the actor seemed to be chilling out at Ekta's party...and this trip to Panchagani might just be the medicine that the doctor ordered...and this break will also give the actor ample time to bond with his baby girl, Aadore. Confusion galore in Jassi's threshold! Jassi Jaisi Ko Nahin is a show that's never been short of drama! But this one really takes the cake. Even amidst rumours that Rakshanda Khan aka Mallika is going out of the show, the actress herself denies the same -- " I am not quitting the show and I think you need to talk to the channel about this," was her only comment. But our sources tell us that Rakshanda's death scene has already been canned by the makers of the show. "Yes, Rakshanda will be out of the show temporarily," says content development, head, Sony, Gursheel Walia, after some moments of silence. But what has heightened the confusion is the fact that the executive producer of the show seemed clueless about the change in track. She was vehement in her denial of the death of Rakshanda's character. And this is not all, we have it on authority that Raghav played by Karan Oberoi will also breathe his last soon! "We are still working out that detail, I will be able to tell you by next week," says Gursheel of Karan's fate in the show. But Karan himself is aware of this albeit through a rumour that he has heard. "I have heard about this, but I don't know for sure. Anyways I am very busy with my performances ( Band of Boys) and even if this is true, acting was always a stop gap thing for me and frankly, now I want to concentrate on singing," says an unperturbed Karan. Well, whatever be the case, Jassi is all set to create more drama...both on and off the sets!
