MUMBAI: Ajaz Khan has almost always been in the limelight in the Television industry after his appearance in Bigg Boss 7. The actor was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) a few days ago at the Mumbai airport. His name was involved as a drug peddler in Shadab Batata's arrest. As per reports, during interrogation, Shadab Batata mentioned Ajaz’s name. The NCB conducted raids at several locations of Ajaz in Andheri and Lokhandwala. The actor was presented in court and was arrested by the police.

As per the recent update of the case, Ajaz had applied for bail in court, but the application has been rejected. ANI shared a tweet recently, which said “Actor Ajaz Khan's bail application rejected by Mumbai's Esplanade Court. He was arrested in connection with a drugs case.”

As per NCB Mumbai's latest report, Ajaz Khan's house was searched because of his involvement with the Batata Gang. During the search, they found 4.5 grams of Alprozol tablets.

In an interview with Ajaz Khan, he said that there was nothing found at his home or the airport. He also mentioned that the pills found in his house were 4 sleeping pills. He said that his wife had been taking these anti-depressant pills as she is suffering from depression after her miscarriage.

For the record, the actor was arrested by the NCB at the Mumbai Airport. This happened when he came back from Rajasthan He was taken into custody at the airport. The actor has been under the NCB radar earlier as well.
