MUMBAI:  Actor Vikas Verma has been impressing the fans with his amazing acting skills. The actor who is currently winning the hearts of the fans with his ongoing television serial Mere Sai is making headlines for his movie titled Chai, the movie is getting some global appreciation. The movie Chai is directed by Deeshak Patra and it had a Global premiere in the United Kingdom by post premier 2021.

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the leading actor of the movie Vikas Verma with regards to his acting journey and his upcoming movie Chai and the character played by him in the movie.

VIKAS VERMA ON HIS ACTING JOURNEY

Vikas Verma revealed that his journey has been amazing so far as an actor. He has been fortunate enough to be a part of some right projects. The actor said he started with theatres and later went on to do some amazing television shows, and now his very first feature film ‘Chai’ is getting some great recognition across the globe. The actor also says that he looks forward to more work as this is just a beginning for him and to play different types of characters across platforms

VIKAS VERMA THROWS SOME LIGHT ON HIS CHARACTER IN THE MOVIE CHAI

The actor went candid and revealed that he will be seen playing the role of an IT professional whose name is Nishant. Nishant is a confused guy. The movie focuses on the relationship between Nishant and a Chaiwala.

VIKAS VERMA ON THE USP OF THE MOVIE

Actor Vikas Verma says that the love which is shown in the movie between the chaiwala and his character Nishant is one of the biggest USP of the movie. There is a lot of simplicity in this love and the story has been treated with a lot of sensitivity.

Directed by Deeshak Patra the movie also stars Archit Koli, Sanaya Pithawalla and Gaurav Alugh, and the movie is inspired by Rabindranath Tagore’s short story “Postmaster”. The movie is yet to be released in India and the actor said soon we shall get an update for the release of the movie.
