Is Shekhar Kapur not part of India's Got Talent 2?

After Sonali Bendre opting out of India’s Got Talent 2, now Shekhar Kapur ‘tweets’ that he is no longer part of India’s Got Talent’s judging panel. Kapur has clearly stated he is no longer part of the show’s second season. Contrary to his claims, our source says, “Shekhar is still part of our show. No one has been approached as his replacement in the show. Neither the channel nor the production house has informed us that Shekhar will not be there. So he is very much part of it.” Anita Basu of Big Synergy says, “I cannot comment on it as it is completely the channel’s call. They are the right people to talk about this.” There was another buzz suggesting that director Anurag Basu might replace Kapur in the show, as the latter demanded a pay hike, but our source denies this and says, “There is no change in the judging team except Sonali Bendre and there are strong possibilities that Sonam Kapoor may take her place.” The first round of audition hosted by Ayushmann Khurana and Nikhil Chinappa recently concluded in Guwahati. The show is slated to go on air sometime next month.
