EXCLUSIVE: “I wanted to become a doctor and landed becoming an actress” – Pooja Dikshit on her journey

Actress Pooja Dikshit who is known for projects like Mere Sai, Chakravyuh and others spoke to TellyChakkar with regards to her acting journey and spoke about dealing the rough patch of life

MUMBAI: Actress Pooja Dikshit has been winning the heart of the fans over the time with her amazing acting contribution across platforms. The actress who is known for her projects like Mere Sai on television and who had been appeared in Bollywood movies like Hate Story and Chakravyuh, is now all set to be seen in an upcoming movie titled Upnyaas which will be directed by Rahul Kumar Shukla. 

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the actress Pooja Dikshit with regards to her acting journey where she spoke in detail about the types of character she looks forward to do on digital platform. 

Pooja Dikshit on her acting journey 

Pooja Dikshit says that as an actor her journey is never ending, she has been fortunate enough to be the part of some fabulous projects in her career. Throwing some light on how she came into the acting wall world the actress revealed that acting was never the part of her plan, she wanted to become a physician in life but over the time because of her love for writing and poetry she had appeared in few television shows and from there she was seen winning the hearts of the fans and from there she was spotted by few filmmakers and she made her way into the acting world. Right from her debut project there was no looking back for the actress in the acting world. She went on to do movies like Chakravyuh, Hate Story and few others. 

Gradually over time the actress developed love towards acting and she been passionate about her work, Pooja also says that she looks acting not as her profession but this is something what she loves. She has been looking actress Vidya Balan as her acting inspiration.

Pooja Dikshit on types of character she looks for what to do on digital platform 

Digital platform is a boom not only for the actors but also the filmmakers, having said that the actress looks forward to do some exciting characters on digital platform. Pointing out some specific characters the Actress says, she wants to do some natural and real characters on screen because she can relate to them very well. She want to play those characters which are been related by the audience. 

Pooja Dikshit on the fighting the rough patch in life 

The actress says that ups and downs are the part and parcel of life not only in actor’s life but in any other profession. The actress reveals that her television show Meri Sai had taught her a lot of things. This show is very close to her heart for many reasons. The actress has seen many good and bad situations during that show and she had learnt how to fight such difficult situations in life through this television show Mere Sai. Having said that the actress always looks to the positive side of life and remain focused in her career.
