MUMBAI: Sumona Chakravarti shot to fame when she played the role of Natasha in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, a television show produced by Balaji Telefilms. She then participated in the comedy show Kahani Comedy Circus Ki on Sony TV with Kapil Sharma and the duo emerged as the winners. She was seen as Manju Sharma in Comedy Nights with Kapil. In The Kapil Sharma Show, she now plays the role of Bhuri.
Zee Entertainment’s lifestyle channel Zee Zest has roped her as the host of its next show. It is a travel show that will explore the rich state of Bengal and its lesser-known stories via a 10-part travelogue.
She is the ideal fit to host the show with her love for travel and exploring the unexplored and her affinity towards Bengali food, festivals, and culture.

Sumona has been a part of showbiz since the age of 11. She worked as a child artist in Aamir Khan and Manisha Koirala starrer Mann. She’s only witnessed an upward graph in her journey. Apart from this, the actress is very active on her social media and very often treats her fans to glimpses of her personal life.
