Amit Sadh set for a rom-com with UTV Motion Pictures

Post the success of Kai Po Che (KPC), Amit Sadh is all set to work on a romantic comedy with UTV Motion Pictures. Commenting on the same Disney UTV Managing Director Siddharth Roy Kapur said, "One of the many positive outcomes from the success of KPC is the recognition of Amit's incredible talent. This youngster is a fantastic actor and he has the looks, physical attributes and the acting chops to mould himself into any sort of role. I can say that you will see many more facets of Amit's talent on screen in the years to come and we are happy to provide him with the right opportunities to make this happen." Talking about the new film, Amit said, "I'm very kicked about this project. It's very different from Omi in KPC. My look, my hairstyle, my body language, everything is new. Though there are expectations from me, I am relatively new and too naive to take myself seriously. I am grateful to the production house for backing me all the way." Says Abhishek Kapoor, who directed Kai Po Che, "Amit listens and then digs deep within for the answers and what he comes out with is real, powerful and original.
