Tellychakkar recently got in touch with the actor and got to know interesting insights.

What do you have to say about the show Swaran Ghar going off-air?

“It is not good and we are not happy. The show was doing great and the audience was really liking it. We were getting messages from the audience saying please don’t shut the show and that they want to continue watching it. It was the production and channel’s call so can’t say anything about it. It is a little shocking and sad. It was a very random and quick decision. We still don’t know why they are shutting the show. It wasn’t as if the TRPs weren’t reflecting, we had a good viewership.”

What would you miss about the show?

“I will definitely miss playing Vikram. Vikram was fun and I explored so many shades and emotions through that character. He had a great aura and he could do anything. He was such a strong personality. Even on the set, I could feel that personality in me and people started fearing me.”

What experience or lessons are you taking away from this show?

“I am taking away a lot of emotions from this show. There were a few emotions that I hadn’t explored and I wasn’t comfortable showing them on-screen but through this show, I got to work on my weak points and I find myself in a much better place now. I know that I am very comfortable showcasing those emotions which I wasn’t before this show. I am able to see my growth and how I have evolved during this show. I have worked a lot on myself during this show. I used to watch my episodes and scenes every day and analyze what I was doing wrong and what was working for me. I got a lot of time while staying in Chandigarh so I could do all this. I even got to learn a lot from the senior actors and the crew as well. I feel like I have just done an eight months course here.”
