MUMBAI : Delving into the lives of two strong-willed women from two diametrically opposing societal settings, each inspirational in their respective worlds, Sony Entertainment Television brings viewers a captivating story with ‘Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum’. The show follows the journeys of Damayanti, the principled traditionalist matriarch of the royal Barot family based in Ranak and Surilii, a vibrant and modern thinking young girl.

In the previous episode, Shivendra, Surilii, Maanvendra, and Samvendra pay a visit to Swatilekha's house for the shagun ceremony.
However, they aren't going with Damayanti's consent and she is unaware about it.
During the gathering, Madhumalti showers Surilii with immense respect and affection. She even refers to Surilii as the 'badi bahu' of the Barot family.
While Surilii happily responds with love, Swatilekha feels deeply hurt.
In the upcoming episode, the Barot family is about to experience chaos with the news of Surili and Shivendra's wedding being leaked to a newspaper, violating their privacy.
Shivendra gets furious after coming to know about this and expresses his anger towards the publication for invading their personal lives.
However, the situation gets worse when Raghavendra accuses Surilii of orchestrating the leak only to gain cheap publicity.
An angry Shivendra gets fired up by this accusation and in the moment of impulse he slaps Raghavendra.
Surili makes a difficult decision of leaving the palace and Shivendra decides to go along with her.
