MUMBAI : Sonal Vengurlekar is a well known actress of television and she has a good fan following.
She is known for playing Devyani Shastri in Shastri Sisters, Survi Barve and Khushi Dharmadhikari in Yeh Vaada Raha, Mandira Rajput in Saam Daam Dand Bhed, and Anjali Hinduja in Kundali Bhagya.
These days she is making the headlines for her performance in the serial Doree where she is essaying a pivotal role.
TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her what drove her in singing the project and what are the challenges she is facing in playing the character.
What drove you in signing this new project was the story, your character?
I wasn't singing a show for a long time because I was looking for a show where it would run for three-four months because I was planning something and I signed it because the show was running for three - four months.
What are the challenges you are facing in playing the character?
As of now there are no challenges because I don't have to talk in a particular language so as of now the role is really nice and I haven't faced any challenges yet.
How is the environment on the sets, how is your experience working with the co – actors and team?
It's good I have worked with Sudha Chandran ma'am in Shastri Sisters so there is a comfort zone and I haven't shot with much people but the environment is good.
Well, there is no doubt that the fans are excited to see Sonal in the show.
