MUMBAI: Bollywood star John Abraham got into a heated argument with a journalist during the recent Vedaa trailer launch, and the incident quickly went viral. John is well-known for his dominant presence on and off screen, and wasn't shy about discussing the roles he chose to play. Numerous conversations have been triggered by the controversial exchange, which has highlighted the actor's honesty and unfiltered reactions.

John was asked to perform "something new" during the Vedaa press conference, which made him react angrily. “Aapne film dekhi hai (Have you seen the film)? Can I call out bad questions and idiots?”

When it was suggested that the trailer hinted at another typical action film from him, John insisted, “Nahi, main to aapko sirf directly kehna chahta hoon ki ye film alag hai. Mere hisab se to it is a very intense performance jo maine kara hai. Of course, aapne film dekhi nahi hai. (No, I just want to tell you that this is a different kind of movie. According to me, it is a very intense performance of mine. Of course, you haven’t seen the film.)”

The incident took place during the Q-and-A session at the Vedaa trailer launch, where John Abraham was joined by co-stars Sharvari, Abhishek Banerjee, and director Nikkhil Advani, among others, to address the media. Adding a touch of humor to the heated moment, John quipped, “But if you are wrong, I am going to turn you around and tear you apart (laughs)!” This blend of humor and assertiveness showcased his confidence in the film and his unwavering support for his artistic choices.

John also took advantage of the opportunity to explain the Vedaa's nature, emphasising, “This is actually not an action film. Vedaa is a very emotional film. Even now, I get moved when I see the film on the edit. I get tears in my eyes. It’s beautiful!” His sincere statements exposed a new aspect of his engagement in the project and highlighted the film's emotional depth.

Vedaa's trailer is currently available, looks like an amazing journey. In this gripping action-thriller, John Abraham and Sharvari lead the charge and must battle against all obstacles to survive. The film promises to keep one on it’s edge. Sharvari posted the trailer on her Instagram account, writing, “Justice. Equality. Liberty. A battle that Abhimanyu and Vedaa will fight to the end. #Vedaa trailer out now! In cinemas this Independence Day in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu! .”
