MUMBAI: With the change in Indian cinema, not only the actors, but some of the talented actresses are also leading the path by taking several challenging roles. Besides the leading actors, there are some actresses who are gearing up for the action on the big screens as they all turned cop for the first time on-screens: Here lets have a look at the upcoming films that will feature Indian actresses.

1) Deepika Padukone in Singham Again

As Rohit Shetty is gearing up for the release of his next film in the cop universe, ‘Singham Again,'  the filmmaker this time has added a new and first female cop played by Deepika Padukone. As seen in the poster, she looks fierce and channels the traits of a fearless police officer. The film is all set for a release in cinemas this Diwali.

2) Kareena Kapoor Khan in The Buckingham Murders

Kareena Kapoor Khan has joined hands with Ektaa R Kapoor and Hansal Mehta for ‘The Buckingham Murders’. In the film helmed by Hansal Mehta, Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen as an ex-cop who turned detective. The film is set for a release in cinemas on September 13th, 2024.

3)Bhumi Pednekar in Daldal

In the upcoming Amrit Raj Gupta’s action thriller Daldal, Bhumi Pednekar will be seen playing cop for the first time. The actress is playing the character of Deputy Commissioner Rita Ferreria.

4) Kubbra Sait in Deva

Kubbra Sait is among those talented actresses of Indian cinema who keeps the audiences surprising with her performances. While she is having some of the biggest projects in the line-up, including Son of Sardaar 2 with Ajay Devgn and Comedy Entertainer with Varun Dhawan, the actress will be seen playing a cop for  in Shahid Kapoor starrer Deva, marking her second time cop appearance on screen after Sehar Lakhot. Deva is set for theatrical release in cinemas in February 2025.

5) Kritika Kamra in Gyaraah Gyaraah

Actress Kritika Kamra will be turning cop for the first time in Zee 5’s web series ‘Gyaraah Gyaraah’. The actress will be playing an intense character in the series that will be releasing soon.
