MUMBAI: Sonakshi Sinha and her husband Zaheer Iqbal are having the best time of their lives. On June 23, 2024, the couple had been dating for seven long years, exchanged vows. However, there was always a rumor that Sonashi's parents didn't approve of her relationship with Zaheer. Recently, politician and veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha talked candidly about his daughter Sonakshi Sinha's marriage to Zaheer Iqbal in an interview with a media agency. He disclosed that the couple was married with their parent's approval and that it is neither against the law nor the constitution.
Shatrughan continued, saying that no one else would be there for his daughter if he wasn't, "This is a matter of marriage... Secondly, if the kids got married, it is not illegal and unconstitutional. They did it with their own wishes and our blessings. So I appreciate it. Who will stand with my daughter if I don't... My wife Poonam Sinha and I, got together to celebrate her wedding. This is about their happiness."
The doting father further tagged Sonakshi and Zaheer as made for each other and mentioned that he feels that the duo is very happy together. Elaborating more on it, Shatrughan added that parents will always stand for their children's happiness no matter what and said, "Parents will always stand for their children's happiness and I feel that our children are happy. I call them made for each other, and we are very happy for them."
