MUMBAI: The popular news portal asked Rajkummar Rao, who is currently busy with the Stree 2 promotions, what one thing he wouldn't do in a movie. "Actually, it would be very hard for me to slap a girl in a scene. I wouldn't be able to do it," Rajkummar Rao replied.
This response prompted the question, "if he would have done Sandip Reddy Vanga's Kabir Singh?" "Yeah, maybe I would have had a lot of discussions with my director about this scene. Unless it's like something which you cannot CANNOT live without, you know your character just cannot live without, it's like breathing that has to be there... I would get into a big debate with my director.”
The lead actors in Kabir Singh were Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. In one incident, when there's an argument, Kabir, played by Shahid Kapoor, slaps Preeti (played by Kiara). Some audience members were skeptical of the scene. The movie was criticized for depicting violence and toxic masculinity.
Rajkummar and wife Patralekha shared a photo on Instagram on Monday. The pair appears to be standing at what looks to be a foreign metro station. Pay attention to their million-dollar smiles. None other than Kunal Kemmu, the actor-director, took their photo. In his caption, Rajkummar gave Kunal credit for the photo. Moreover, he tagged Patralekhaa and wrote, "With my most favourite and most khubsoorat [beautiful] #Stree."
In November 2021, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa tied the knot. In the movies Samjhana and CityLights, the couple appeared together on screen.
In the meantime, Rajkummar Rao's next movie Stree 2 will be released in theatres on August 15. Amar Kaushik, the film's director, also has Shraddha Kapoor in a major part. Conversely, Patralekhaa is anticipated to appear in Phule and Suryast next.
