MUMBAI : Anil Mehta, the father of Malaika Arora, committed suicide on September 11, 2024. According to reports, the 65-year-old jumped from the sixth floor of his Bandra apartment. Malaika felt devastated when she heard the news of her father's death, and the pictures from his funeral were quite painful to see. Many of Malaika's well-wishers came to her help, and the whole Khan clan came to pay their respects.

Salman Khan was seen leaving Malaika Arora's home on September 12, 2024, after visiting her to offer support during her difficult times. He was shocked to find the fans gathered outside the apartment and calling his name.

They were cheering and taking his pictures. Salman was visibly angered by all of this, but he did not react. However, it was clear from the expression on his face that he was clearly pissed off.

Soon after the video was shared on Reddit, netizens noticed that Salman Khan was visibly pissed off by his fans' unacceptable behaviour. They also slammed the actor's fans for behaving like hooligans outside Malaika Arora's home.

Reacting to the video, a user penned, "I can’t believe I’m witnessing this level of crazy! This is stupidity on steroids! People are hitting new lows every day." Another commented, "The joblessness of this public that they don’t spare someone’s funeral as long as they get to see their stars. That hooting is next level hooliganism."

Salman Khan failed to attend Anil Mehta's funeral or Malaika Arora's home to give his last respects. The actor was reportedly not in the city, though the cause of his absence has not yet been confirmed.

Salman is reportedly busy shooting for his upcoming film Sikander, his upcoming movie starring Rashmika Mandanna. Due to work obligations, Salman failed to attend Malaika's father's funeral.

Following the death of her father, Anil Mehta, Malaika Arora shared the first note on her Instagram handle on September 11, 2024. The picture has a note informing Anil Mehta's passing next to his photo in the lower left corner.

Malaika called him their best friend, a loving husband, a devoted grandfather, and a lovely spirit in the note. In these difficult circumstances, Malaika requested for privacy, saying that their family was in complete shock.

Her note could be read as, "We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by the loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult times. We appreciate your understanding, support and respect."
