MUMBAI: Festivals are always filled with fun and joyful gatherings, especially for kids, who seem to enjoy them the most. With Dussehra just around the corner, Kavish Chouhan, the young and talented actor playing the role of Shaishav in Sun Neo's popular show Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya, opened up about his fond memories of celebrating the festival in his hometown and how he plans to celebrate it in Mumbai this year.
Recalling his Dussehra memories, Kavish shared, “Every year, I used to wear new clothes and go with my mom and dad to watch Ravan Dahan in my hometown, where there was also a fair. We would all do puja together and eat sweets. Then, I would go with my friends to burst firecrackers. I also remember the first time I went with my dad to watch Ravan Dahan. The Ravan effigy was really big, and when it burned, the sound scared me a little, but I also enjoyed it a lot. That was my most memorable Dussehra.”
Sharing his plans for this year, the young actor added, “This year, we'll be celebrating Dussehra in Mumbai, following the local traditions. However, we haven't planned anything yet, as I'm currently busy shooting for my Sun Neo show Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya.”
