The evening kicked off with Wicked taking home two major wins for Best Production Design and Best Costume Design, showcasing the film’s exceptional craftsmanship and imaginative world-building.
Adrien Brody won his second Best Actor Oscar for his compelling portrayal of a Hungarian architect in The Brutalist, a gripping drama about rebuilding life in America after World War II. His performance, which highlights the emotional depth and resilience of a man facing his past while building a new future, cements his place at the top of the industry. In addition to Brody's stunning performance, The Brutalist also took home the Oscars for Best Original Score and Best Cinematography, further showcasing the film's artistic excellence and powerful storytelling.
