MUMBAI: The Embassy of India hosted a special screening of The Diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State of Israel—an ideal platform to highlight the deep-rooted ties between the two nations. The event saw the presence of dignitaries, including real-life Indian diplomat JP Singh and Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, who emphasized the significance of India’s global role and commitment to its citizens’ security.
The film, directed by Shivam Nair, has been widely appreciated by national media and critics for its honest narrative, which has touched millions worldwide. The Diplomat powerfully portrays the tact & power of a real-life diplomat, featuring John Abraham in a never-seen-before role and a standout performance by Sadia Khateeb. The screening served as a testament to the strong and evolving India-Israel partnership.
