MUMBAI: The IPL season is getting more interesting with every passing match. The audience is hyped for what’s coming. Now, it’s going to be Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) vs Delhi Capitals (DC). Interestingly, The match will take place at Lucknow’s home ground where they have given tough times to DC previously.

However, here’s something interesting. In IPL 2025, four LSG matches took place on their home ground, out of which, two were on black and other two were on red soil surfaces respectively. While the team won twice on the black soil, the red soil has not been helpful at all. Interestingly, today’s match will be played on red soil.
LSG can only depend on hope for this one. KL Rahul was the captain of LSG last year while Rishabh Pant was the captain of DC. This time, while KL Rahul is free from his captaincy duties in DC, Rishabh Pant is struggling as a captain of LSG.
Pacer Mayank Yadavwas seen practicing in the nets on Monday even though he has not been seen in the playing XI yet. Will he get to play this match? We can only hope for it.
