MUMBAI: Alia Bhatt is undeniably one of the finest talents we have today in the Indian cinema. The actress showed potential right from her first project, Student of the Year but her evolution into a character actor was unpredictable and surprising to everyone.
The strength in her persona fueled the strength in her character which in-turn strengthened a generation of female population who followed her and became her fan after witnessing her performance in various movies.
In a recent podcast with Hindu Rush, Rahul Bhatt, Alia’s half-brother, opened up about his bond with Alia Bhatt, praised her talent but there’s more to the opinion which has been going viral.
When pointed at Alia Bhatt’s graph of performance, Rahul Bhatt said, “She has got talent, she has got the universe...she understands public relations, she has an amalgam of everything and when you have got everything, the universe conspires to make it happen and the rest is history. Look at her body of work.”
However, in a truly uncensored opinion, Rahul further stated, “But if you ask me in my opinion, she is not even half of my real sister (Pooja Bhatt). She is not even half. Not talent, na toh looks, na toh sexy, mere sagi behen ke saamne paani kam chai. Yeh mera personal opinion hai. If you ask me in terms of all my siblings who is the most talented, who is the most moralistic, who is the most...it’s Pooja.”
Well, the audience reaction to this opinion is pretty strong and while there are those who support this opinion as a personal one, there are also those who don’t find this right.
