MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra has officially commenced shooting for his upcoming folk thriller VVAN: Force of the Forrest. The actor took to Instagram today to share a behind-the-scenes glimpse, instantly creating buzz among fans and industry insiders.

In a recent Instagram Story, Sidharth shared a close-up of the film’s clapboard, revealing the title VVAN, scene and shot details, and the shoot date—9th June 2025—marking the first day of filming. The mystical design of the title hints at a forest-inspired narrative, adding to the intrigue surrounding the film.

VVAN: Force of the Forrest stars Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in their first-ever on-screen collaboration. Directed by Deepak Mishra and Arunabh Kumar, and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Arunabh Kumar, the film is a joint venture between Balaji Motion Pictures and The Viral Fever (TVF).
