MUMBAI: Mrunal Thakur steps into the world of commercial cinema in Bollywood for the first time with Son of Sardaar 2. She has even set the tone for the wedding season with her latest release NachDi — the ultimate bride anthem! Mrunal lights up the frame with every thumka in the track.... Fans have been high on praise of her infectious energy, effortless charm, and desi diva vibe!!
Talking about the joy of playing Rabia and doing a commercial song, Mrunal Thakur shared, “It was truly lovely to have Ganesh Acharya on board. All the dance steps he choreographed for me felt so natural. NachDi is such a fun track, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. The song is peppy and carries an energetic Punjabi vibe, so there was no hesitation holding me back I was just channeling the real Mrunal.”
She further added, “It was also really exciting to play Rabia, to step into the energy of such a lively girl and bring out all the expressions I could. I’d say shooting NachDi and soaking in that energy was a really wholesome and memorable experience!”
Son of Sardaar 2 is promising to be a full paisa vasool film!
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film boasts a power packed starcast featuring Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, Sahil Mehta and the late Mukul Dev.
