MUMBAI: The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) has released its latest weekly TRP ratings, providing a compelling glimpse into the ever-evolving preferences of Indian television viewers.
This week’s chart has brought with it a wave of surprises — from fresh entries and unexpected drops to impressive leaps by audience favourites.
At the very top of the list is the recently launched Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, now rebranded as Tulsi, which has stormed to the number one spot, overtaking long-standing leader Anupama and making an emphatic debut.
Meanwhile, Laughter Chefs, currently in its semi-final leg, has seen a notable rise in viewership, capturing the audience’s attention with its unique blend of comedy and competition.
On the flip side, Udne Ki Aasha has slipped from the top five, while Tum Se Tum Tak manages to hold its ground in a stable position.
Elsewhere, both Mannat: Har Khushi Paane Ki and Kumkum Bhagya have seen a healthy boost in ratings, marking a successful week for their respective storylines.
As for the remaining top spots, Anupama and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai currently sit at second and third place respectively, continuing their strong hold on loyal viewership.
