MUMBAI: Bigg Boss can be a big break for many celebrities but it is surely a test of one's mental health. Many celebrities go inside the house and get immense fame but end up spoiling their mental health.
One such celebrity is Shamita Shetty. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Shamita Shetty spoke at length about struggles she faced after the show.

In the interview, Shamita mentioned that Bigg Boss gave her a lot in the external world, however, it also took a part of her from her internal world. The Mohabbatein actress shared that she faced several attacks inside the house, and even after stepping out, she remained guarded, interacting with people with a constant sense of having to defend herself.
Shamita shared that she had to take therapy for a year after the show. She said, "When I came out of the house, my gosh, I needed to take therapy for a year because I couldn't understand what the hell was going on around or how to react in a correct manner
Having said that, Shamita also highlighted that the show gave her a lot of exposure in the external world.
