A little birdie has informed us that Star Plus is all set for a revamp and many ongoing shows will be axed while a series of new shows will be introduced. Buzz is also strong that the channel will re-introduce the afternoon slot TV shows.
A sources close to the channel said, "Star Plus is all set for a revamp. Barring TV shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Anupamaa, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 and Udne Ki Aasha most of the other shows will be axed. The channel is working on as many as eight new shows. The announcement of the same can be expected during Star Parivaar Awards. Buzz is that Rupali Ganguly as Anupamaa will be seen doing the big announcement as Star Parivaar completes 25 years."
We couldn't get in touch the channel's spokesperson for a comment.
