MUMBAI: Television actress Abha Parmar, known for her roles in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, Neeli Chhatri Wale and Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, has come out in support of Bigg Boss 19 contestant Tanya Mittal. Abha shared her thoughts in an emotional statement, praising Tanya’s journey and calling her a genuine person with a big heart.
Abha revealed that she was never someone who followed Bigg Boss, but this season she tuned in only because of Tanya. “I am not someone who watches Bigg Boss, but because Tanya is in this season I have started watching. I feel very taken aback with the trolling because she has achieved so much at such a young age, even though she is from a small city like Gwalior,” Abha said.
She went on to highlight Tanya’s achievements. “She represented our country on the national level via tourism at the age of just eighteen. That itself speaks volumes about her talent and dedication,” Abha shared proudly.
The actress also recalled her personal experience with Tanya when they worked together on a women’s campaign in Gwalior. “I am the brand ambassador of a women’s NGO in Gwalior and that’s how I met Tanya. We had the chance to spend four to five days together. Tanya is a very genuine person and I saw it myself in the way she interacted with underprivileged women,” she said.
Abha shared that Tanya would even cross security barriers to connect with the women directly. “She would break security and go meet them to spread awareness. That shows how real and committed she is,” Abha explained.
Her heartfelt support has won attention online, with many fans appreciating that someone from the industry has spoken up for Tanya’s truth and sincerity.
