MUMBAI: Star Plus show Anupamaa is currently the most loved and top rated show. The current track of the show revolves around Anupamaa teaching a lesson to Sonu and giving the much awaited closure to Samar.
Anupamaa actor Viidushi Tiwari who played the character of Ishaani in the show has decided to quit the show. Yes, you read that right! Vidushi took to social media and shared the news that due to health issues, she has decided to call it quits as Ishaani from Anupamaa.
TellyChakkar.com got in touch with Vidushi, and in an exclusive chat, she opened up about her health issues and decision to exit the show. She said, “It all happened during Ansh and Prarthana’s wedding track. My health deteriorated so much that I had to leave the shoot midway and seek medical assistance. The reports came the next day, and I was diagnosed with a severe liver infection. The doctors advised me to undergo at least six months of proper treatment,” she shared.

Vidushi further added, “The team at DKP has been extremely supportive and helped me cope with my health condition. They have constantly been checking in on me. However, I didn’t want to keep the production waiting for six months, so I decided to bid adieu to the show. Anu Maa (Rupali Ganguly) called me, and even Shivam and others reached out to ask about my health. I’m truly grateful to have worked with such amazing people. That said, I had to prioritize my health, and hence I came to the conclusion of parting ways with Anupamaa.”
