Among these promising talents is Amritha Rajan, who impressed the judges during her auditions with her melodious voice and confident performance.

In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Amritha opened up about her remarkable journey, her musical aspirations, and her dream of meeting legendary composer A.R. Rahman.

Speaking about her journey so far, Amritha shared,

“It’s been an overwhelming and beautiful experience. I’ve learnt so much, not only about music but also about myself. This journey is truly a learning curve, and I feel incredibly grateful for every moment.”

When asked if she felt nervous performing before the judges, Amritha smiled and said,

Talking about her musical inspirations, Amritha revealed her long-held dream:

“I admire all three judges—Vishal sir, Shreya ma’am, and Badshah sir—and would love to collaborate with them someday. But my biggest dream is to meet and work with A.R. Rahman. I’m manifesting the day I’ll meet him, perform with him, and have a deep, meaningful conversation about music.”

When asked how she would react if A.R. Rahman appeared on Indian Idol as a special guest, Amritha’s eyes lit up as she replied,
