9X discovers Rubi

9X has roped in BAG Films to produce a daily for them titled as rubi. The show that is expected to be a daily will have Mazher Sayed aka Samar of Saat Phere fame and veteran actor Nupur Alankar . BAG Films is sticking to its golden rule of christening the show after its lead character's name. Informs a source from the production house, "The lead character of the show is Rubi and thus the title of the show. Even its other long running show is titled as Kumkum after its lead character's name which is essayed by Juhi Parmar ." When contacted Rajesh Chaddha, Head of Operations, B.A.G Films and Media Ltd., chose no comments stance. A source from the production house said, "We are advised not to divulge anything so we really can't comment on it as yet." The shooting of the same is expected to commence from Monday, 16 June.
