Shraddha gets its cast

It was TellyChakkar who reported that Neha Janpandit was finalised for the lead role in Siddhant Cinevision’s Shraddha. The show is tipped to launch in the first half of August. And now we give you an insight to the other actors who are on-board the show. Informs our source, “Neha Janpandit will essay the character of Shraddha Jaswal. Veterans Sudhir Dalvi and Sukanya Kulkarni will essay the characters of her parents. The protagonist will have three brothers and the actors who have been finalised for it are Kashif Khan, Shashank and Siddharth Dhawan (actor Anil Dhawan’s son). Karuna Pandey and Bharti will play Shraddha’s sister-in-laws.” “The male lead will enter the show around two months after the launch of the show. This is a story set against the backdrop of Ujjain, which is a pilgrim place. Shraddha belongs to a middle- class Jaswal family. She is a simple girl who wants to fulfill the dreams of her parents. The show also focuses on the importance of religion and faith”, adds our source. Talking about the launch date and time of the show, our source informs, “The show is expected to launch sometime in the month of August but there is no confirmation regarding the timing of the show. Initially, we were informed that the show will be in the afternoon slot but we aren’t getting any confirmation on the timing now.” We sent a text message to producer Manish Goswami but he didn’t revert.
