I know I have missed on an opportunity but I couldn't have done much about it: Rajat Rawail

Rajat Rawail
Rajat Rawail is an actor, producer and director by profession. He indeed has diverse roles to play in the outside world, but as a Bigg Boss inmate, he relegated himself to a sorry figure with his constant whining and crying. He wept so much that eventually he became a butt of all jokes. Tellychakkar.com had a word with Rajat and asked him, why did he cry so much? Answered Rajat: “On last Friday, when I went to the wishing wall, I wished to see my eight year old daughter. From that very moment, I went into a state of depression. I knew from the very beginning that I wouldn’t get to see her for three months, house but after a while I couldn’t help but constantly think about her.” So does this mean he is happier now that he is out of the house? “Yes, I am happier as the first week was a smooth run for me but things got difficult in the second week with my health deteriorating. Hence, it was best for me to move out of the show.” We further went on to ask him if he felt that he had made a mistake by entering the show and he averred, “One needs to be mentally and physically fit to be on a reality show and only after getting on this show I realized that I had health issues. I was overweight but, I always ignored it. However, now I’ve realized that health is important and one cannot ignore these aspects.” He further went on to add, “In fact, I will go for a health check-up and also go to Sarita Davare (nutritionist) to get my diet in place. So, hopefully on 20th December 2013 - the finale day - I will be in a better shape.” It’s nice to hear that Rajat is ready to work on his health issues. But then doesn’t he feel that he has missed on an opportunity of a lifetime because he could not overcome his emotional state? “I knew that I would stay in the house for six to eight weeks but, then my health was more important than anything at this stage. I know I have missed on an opportunity but I couldn’t have done much about it. ” Does this mean you have no regrets? “I am definitely dejected.” When asked which contestant would he support, now that he is out, he stated, “Tanisha Mukherjee, Arman Kohli, Sangram Singh, Elli Avram and Apurva Agnihotri are nice people hence, I’d support them. Apurva for me is like Rahul Roy from the first season.” What’s next? “I am looking forward to a reality show.” But before signing one, fix all your issues first. We wish Rajat a happy and healthy life ahead!!!
