Taarak Mehta and Papad Pol to air on Fridays

Sab TV’s 2 prime time shows Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltaah Chashmah and Papad Pol- Shahabuddin Rathod Ki Rangeen Duniya which air from Monday-Thursday, between 8.00-9.00 p.m. slot, have got an extension. The channel has decided to give the shows a day’s extension which means the show will now air on Fridays too. Come November and these prime time dailies will push Malegaon Ka Chintu and Gutur Gu to the 9-10 pm slot. Currently Malegaon Ka Chintu which airs on Fridays airs at 8 pm while Gutur Gu airs at 8.30. Says Anooj Kapoor, Executive VP and Bussiness Head Sab TV, “Due to the overwhelming response for our shows from our viewers we have decided to extend two of our most popular shows to the Friday prime time line up.” Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi says, “I felt very happy when our production guys told me about this extension. It surely means that we are successful in our endeavour to bring smiles across many faces. I am sure the audience will love this extra dose of our show every Friday.” Ami trivedi who plays Kokila in Papad Pol also expressed her happiness. Says Trivedi, “This is very good news for us. Though it means an extra day of hard work, but in the end it is all worth it.”
