Being single has its pros and cons - Shahid Kapur

Shahid Kapur has had his share of link-ups in the industry. From Priyanka Chopra to Vidya Balan, the actor is rumoured to have dated the hottest actresses of our country. Except for his relationship with Kareena which went kaput, Shahid has never really spoken about the women in his life, ever. When Tellychakkar.com asked him if at this juncture the actor missed having a special lady love in his life, Shahid wistfully remarked, “Not having a lady love in my life has its pros and cons.” When asked to elaborate on the pros and cons, Shahid evaded our query by saying ‘it’s a long conversation’. Earlier reports had surfaced that his father, Pankaj Kapur was looking out for a Punjabi bride for Shahid to marry. When asked about the same, Shahid rubbished it as nothing more than false news. “I can promise you that my father is really not looking for any girl for me. When that news came out I was shooting for Haider in Kashmir and my father was shooting for Finding Fanny in Goa. But as per that news report my father was in Punjab. Also my father will never take the pressure of finding a girl for me. And ultimately, I like making my own choices.” Well, looks like Shahid doesn’t really believe in the concept of his parents arranging a match for him.
