Colors' Sanskaar might 'stay on' despite low numbers; thanks to IPL

Colors’ Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki, produced by Anahita/Cinematra Productions is certainly living in danger zone, as the numbers have been dismal. And the very less promotion coming from the channel has only made things worse for the show!! So what does the future hold for Sanskaar? A source tells us that the channel might not be tempted to put in a new show, during the IPL time 9will begin in April). So this might only mean that Sanskaar will have ample time till IPL to prove its worth in terms of numbers. Also, a new show has to be ready for Sanskaarto bid adieu. There is a buzz that Sanskaar might be replaced by Shashi-Sumeet Productions’ upcoming show on Colors. But given its high budget and magnitude, the show, in most probability, will not take the early 7PM Sanskaar slot. Meanwhile, Colors’ yet another long-running show Uttaran is also scheduled to end soon. We tried calling Producer Swapna Waghmare Joshi to know about Sanskaar’s future but could not get through to her. Guess things will slowly start unfolding on the newer developments in months to come.
