I have learnt to take rumours with a pinch of salt: Manish Raisinghani

Known for his stylish and macho character Siddhant in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka, Manish Raisinghani has impressed one and all by his immaculate acting in all the television shows that he has appeared in till date. The enthralling actor, who earlier worked as a Mechanical Engineer, is also a trained Reiki specialist in Martial Arts and holds black belts in Karate, Kung Fu and Kickboxing too. In a conversation with Tellychakkar.com, the talented actor shares some of his secrets for our Quickie section. What is your comfort food after a hard day’s work? I like eating dal and rice after a hard day’s work. Most played songs on your iPod? I really like listening to songs by Enrique. If you were to get stuck somewhere with no phone or internet, where would it be and with whom? I would love to get stuck on a beautiful island with a stranger whom I could explore and get to know more about. And yes, I would love it all the more if the stranger would be Jennifer Lawrence (winks). Live-in or marriage? I would choose marriage over live-in because my parents would not approve of the same ever. Love is… Love is a beautiful dream if it happens with the right person and a nightmare if one falls in love with the wrong person. Sex is… Sex is overrated. Craziest rumour you have heard about yourself? I have heard rumours of me being in a relationship with people who I have never met in my life. But now I have learnt to take them with a pinch of salt. What is best done slowly…eating or kissing? Since doctors suggest that one needs to eat slowly I would follow what the doctor tells me to do (smiles). Every person needs? Every person needs love and affection. What is something that you need to stop doing immediately? I need to stop trusting people easily. What have you always wanted to do but never done? There is too much that I want to do. I am like a kid in a toy shop; wanting to explore everything. To start off, I want to make cinema and act in unconventional ones among a lot of other things. One word that describes you? I am mischievous.
