Exclusive! Kshitee Jog on Jhimma 2, “I really hope we live up to the expectations”

MUMBAI: In 2021, a Marathi movie titled Jhimma had hit the big screens. The movie starred Suhas Joshi, Nirmiti Sawant, Sonalee Kulkarni, Siddharth Chandekar, Kshitee Jog, Suchitra Bandekar, Mrinmayee Godbole and Sayali Sanjeev.

A few days ago, TellyChakkar interacted with Kshitee Jog and spoke to her about Jhimma 2.

What’s the update on Jhimma 2?

We have finished shooting for Jhimma 2 and now, the editing and the post-production work has started. Hopefully, by the end of the year, we should get it in theatres.

You are the co-producer of Jhimma and Jhimma 2. So, how difficult was it to get all these actresses together for the movie?

Honestly, it wasn’t very difficult and the reason was the script of the film. When I narrated the story, they were all very eager and luckily, we all gelled up with each other. It was a film we all believed in. The difficult part was to get everybody’s dates and to manage the time to shoot with all of them because they are all busy actors.

When we told her that the audience has a lot of expectations from Jhimma 2, Kshitee said...

I really hope we live up to the expectations. When we did Jhimma, there was no pressure, we just had to put up the film. But this time, there is pressure, but a good one. We are happy to take that pressure.

Jhimma 2 is directed by Hemant Dhome.
