Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth-Dhanush Divorce: It's going to be amicable as per source

MUMBAI: After eighteen years of marriage, Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth and Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja aka Dhanush parted ways and announced their separation. This shocking piece of news broke everyone’s heart. They announced their separation on January 17, 2022. Now, the filmmaker has dropped the actor's name from her social media handles on Twitter and Instagram. The filmmaker even went on to change her name on her social media accounts.

After nearly 2 years of announcing their separation, Aishwarya and Dhanush have now officially filed for divorce. As per sources, the primary custody of their sons will go to Aishwaryaa. A source revealed, “There is not going to be a fight in court for divorce, or any mud slinging. They both have made peace with the turn of events in their life, and accepted that they can’t be together. They have respect for each other. It’s going to be an amicable process.”

The source further shared, “They are co-parenting their sons on a cordial level. However, the primary custody is expected to go to Aishwaryaa, and Dhanush is not contesting it. That being said, he is always there for his kids. At the moment, the estranged couple is involved in active discussions with their kids to help them sail the divorce process smoothly.”
