MUMBAI: Thalapathy Vija is one of the biggest names down south. He has a massive fan following and has entertained fans with his performances in films like Beast, Master, Leo and recently Varisu. The actor’s fans can now celebrate as the South superstar has clocked in 1M fans, joining the ranks of Hollywood bigwigs like Angelina Jolie and artist BTS’ V.

While Vijay regularly updates fans about his films through his Twitter account, he recently joined Instagram and in a matter of a few hours he got a whopping 1 M followers. He has now grabbed the headlines in Entertainment News for becoming the 3rd celeb to get the fastest 1M followers. The first rank goes to Kim Taehyung aka V and 2nd to Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie.

Interestingly, while BTS V gained 1M followers in only 43 minutes, Angelina Jolie got 1M in 59 minutes. Vijay clocked in 1 M in 99 minutes!

In his first post he shared a picture of himself sporting the handsome salt and pepper look and captioned it, “Hello Nanbas and Nanbis”
