MUMBAI: Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6 hosted by Kamal Haasan began on 9th October 2022 and its grand finale episode aired yesterday. The show went on for a whopping 5 hours and had many special performances by the contestants of the show. Towards the end, Kamal Haasan finally announced that since Azeem won the maximum votes, he became the winner of the show.
Vikraman became the runner-up of the show and Shivin Ganesan stole the third spot. Fans were incredibly excited and supportive of each winner. Since Azeem won the show, he took home a cash prize of Rs. 50 lakh and a brand new Maruti Suzuki car as well. This season of Bigg Boss Tamil was very controversial as many fights had erupted from the first week itself. There were 21 contestants who participated in the sixth season of the reality show.
During the grand finale, the business head of Vijay Television, Mr. Krishnan Kutty revealed that there were over 30 million people watching the show this year. Actor and host Kamal Haasan shared some final words of wisdom to the finalists of the show- Shivin, Azeem and Vikraman. He said that they were already winners. He then brought them out of the house and into the finals stage so that he could announce the final results.
Shivin Ganesan took the second runner up spot and Vikraman took the first runner up place. Azeem, who was termed as one the most controversial contestants in the show, eventually won the title. Check out the post:

While the season was going on, there were speculations that this would be Kamal Haasan’s last run as host of Bigg Boss Tamil and will bid goodbye to the show. However, post making the announcement about the winners, he concluded saying, 'Until we meet again, Ungal Naan (I'm yours).'
The seventh season of the show will begin later this year.
