Heartfelt! Dulquer Salmaan penns a sweet note by sharing a picture with his wife Amal Sufi on their 12th wedding anniversary; Says ‘Thanks for being my calm and center’

MUMBAI : Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan neglected to publish about his 11th wedding anniversary on time last year. He apologized for the wait by posting an emotional message and a delayed wish on Instagram. However this year, he came on time. The actor from Bangalore Days posted photos of himself and his wife Amal Sufi on Instagram on Friday along with a heartfelt message referring to her as his "center and calm."

DQ shared photos and wrote, “12 years and counting Am! When we look back at it, seems like a big number. But actually, the years have been flying by as we navigate life. Annually it’s around this time that I weigh out the year. All the ups, downs, wins and losses. And every year I realise that you’ve been my rock through everything. No matter what, you remain calm and smiling. Nothing is too big or too small. Nothing is too good or too bad. And that one quality of yours always centers me. Happy Anniversary Baby. Thank you for being my calm and my center. My rock and my anchor. Here’s to dozens more!!”

In the actor's post's comments section, celebrities including Shane Nigam, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Tovino Thomas sent their well-wishes for the pair. Even before he made his acting debut in Second Show (2012), Dulquer Salmaan and Amal Sufi tied the knot in 2011.

Dulquer never stops posting pictures of Amal on Instagram. On her birthday in September, he wrote a similar note, “Ammmmm !!” “Mammaaaaa !!!” The two most common sounds in our house. No matter how exhausted you are or how long your day has been you always find the energy for us.”

Their six-year-old daughter, Dulquer and Amal, remains out of the limelight. Regarding his career, Dulquer's big-budget movie King of Kotha didn't have the desired effect even after extensive promotion. Dulquer will be seen in the upcoming movie Thug Life, starring Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam.
