MUMBAI: Actress Nazriya Nazim Fahadh, a Malayalam actress made her Telugu debut with the film Nani, co-starrer Ante Sundaraniki. Her husband Fahad Faasil also made his Telugu debut with the mega hit film, Pushpa. Nazriya is receiving very positive reception for her performance and called her Telugu debut, ‘A beautiful coincidence’.
In an interview with another entertainment portal, Nazriya opened up about her Tollywood debut at the same time as her husband Fahadh. “This is just a beautiful coincidence that both of us made our Telugu debut with the same production. And yes, we do discuss films like any other couple, who discuss their work.” She said this about discussing films with her husband and also added that they try not to discuss it too much and since they both produce films, they avoid discussing scripts.
Nazriya and Fahadh worked together in Anwar Rasheed’s Trance which was released in 2020. She also backs films under her banner Nazriya Nazim Productions. When asked about the collaboration and what was in store for the audience, the actress said, “There are a few things that we have heard but we haven’t narrowed down on anything yet.”
In her movie, the Telugu rom-com, Nazriya plays a Christian girl named Leela who falls for an orthodox Brahmin man, Sundar, played by Nani.
On sharing about the same, the actress said that one needed a lot of confidence to do a comedy and if one isn’t sure, it shows up on the actor’s face.
