MUMBAI: Roohi, the wife of cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar, died on Thursday (February 15) following health complications. According to multiple media sources, Roohi has been receiving treatment over the past few days. She passed away at KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad due to multiple organ failure.
Senthil Kumar had taken a break from work to care for his wife. According to reports, Roohi's final rites would be held at 9 a.m. on Friday at Mahaprasthanam in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
Roohi was a yoga instructor who reportedly collaborated with actress Anushka Shetty. She also supervised the Hyderabad section of Bharat Thakur's yoga programs. Senthik Kumar and Roohi got married in June 2009.
On Instagram, Roohi had over 4,000 followers, and her bio read, "Yoga Exponent since 2003. Teacher for 20 years. Yoga Pandit 200RYT. YogA Acarya 500RYT. Celebrity Coach. Corporate Trainer. Wellness Expert." She was very active on social media and frequently shared images with her family.
Meanwhile, Senthil Kumar is well-known for his many collaborations with film director SS Rajamouli. He has collaborated on major films like Sye, Chatrapathi, Yamadonga, Arundhati, Magadheera, Baahubali: The Beginning, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, and RRR, among others.
