MUMBAI :Who can forget Kamal Haasan’s Indian which was a blockbuster and loved by many. The film’s sequel Indian 2 is now here and Haasan is back as the powerful character Senapathy. The teaser launch/ intro video bigwigs like Aamir Khan, Rajinikanth, Dudeep, SS Rajamouli and Mohanlal came together to grace the occasion.
In the intro video we hear the dialogue “Wherever injustice happens, I will appear. Indian is immortal” and Senapathy who has now moved abroad will be planning to return to India to battle corruption in his country once again.
The powerful video has been released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi..

Indian 2 has been in the making for quite sometime. The shoot began in 2019 and was halted in 2020 due to a fatal incident on set. It halted again due to the pandemic and resumed in 2022. The film is now in the post production stage. The film stars Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, SJ Suryah, Bobby Simha, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gulshan Grover, Samuthirakani, Guru Somasundaram, Kalidas Jayaram, Delhi Ganesh, Jayaprakash, George Maryan, among others.
Indian 2 will have posthumous appearances of Nedumudi Venu, Vivekh, Manobala and G Marimuthu.
