MUMBAI : Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Anupama appears to have devoted her entire life to Baa Babuji and her children in Shah House. After Anuj and Adhya permanently left her, she no longer had the will to live.
The focus of the show right now is Bhai Dhoj, when the family gets together to exchange rakhis. Anupama will attempt to defuse the tension in her family, so it will be a very full celebration.
Bhavesh, Anupama's brother, will soon visit Anupama at Shah House and tell her that he has decided to remarry a girl of his choosing.
The rest of the family, including Baa, will begin to criticize Bhavesh for marrying so young and bringing disgrace to their family. Anupama disregards her family's advice and backs Bhavesh in putting his happiness ahead of social pressure.
