MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Toshu appears to be attempting to exert authority over the Shah family following Vanraj's unexpected departure. Toshu would argue that since Vanraj vanished and put everyone in danger, he can only assist this family in surviving.
He'll put a garland in Vanraj's photo and declare himself the head of the household, hinting that he might not come back.
The rest of the family will not take kindly to Toshu's actions, so they will rebel against him and move their base to Asha Bhavan, where Anupama resides with Anuj and Adhya.
